Where cities can take Africa – “Frontiers in development policy meeting series”

This event is part of the meetings series “Frontiers in development policy meeting series” sponsored by DEVCO and the European Think-Tanks Group. The event is organized in collaboration with Cities Alliance and explored how the EU external action towards urban development in Africa may evolve, after decades of “good governance” reforms that largely failed to address Africa’s urban challenges. It mapped relevant urban trends in the continent, good local practices and current EU tools, facilitate exchange of ideas about co-produced policy, and imagine urban futures.
