The world is facing a multitude of crises, impacting the international order and cooperation between continents. Africa, particularly vulnerable, is experiencing rising poverty, social unrest, and political instability. This project aims to strengthen the Africa-Europe partnership by addressing these challenges through a shared lens.
This ETTG project examined the evolving African Union-European Union partnership on peace, security, and governance. The project comes at a critical time, as the Sahel region faces growing instability, coups d’Ă©tat, and the ever-present threat of extremism. The war in Ukraine has further complicated the situation, diverting resources and attention.
This ETTG project, in collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, examined key issues in EU-Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) relations.
