Lisbon Talk: AU – EU Summit: and now what?

On the 17th and 18th of February, the African Union and the European Union convened a Summit in Brussels and approved an “Africa-Europe Investment Package of EUR 150 billion to help build more diversified, inclusive, sustainable and resilient economies”. Lidet Tadesse, from the European Center for Development and Policy Management (ECDPM)Ottilia Maunganidze, from the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) and Fernando Jorge Cardoso, from the Club of Lisbon, will be debating these and other related issues, in a conversation moderated by Geert Laporte, from the European Think Tanks Groupon Monday, the 28th of February.

The debate was held in English and was live streamed on the Club of Lisbon’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

This Lisbon Talk is organised by the Lisbon Club, with the support of Lisbon City Hall and Instituto Marquês de Valle Flôr – IMVF.
